About Us - Pumpkin Patch in Dry Ridge, KY

Upcoming Events

Country Pumpkins was founded in 2000 by the Colson and Pennington families as a simple pumpkin sales business with an honesty box by the road. By 2009 it had grown into a complete Fall Festival and Fall Tour operation.

The Colson's farm, Alpine Hills Dairy Farm was established in 1947 in Corinth, KY by Papaw Joe Colson when he made the trip to Illinois to purchase his first few Brown Swiss Cows. The farm is now relocated to Dry Ridge and owned by his son, Dean, and Dean's wife, Debbie. Today, they milk 65 Brown Swiss cows two times a day - 365 days a year!
