Country Pumpkins was founded in 2000 by the Colson and Pennington families as a simple pumpkin sales business with an honesty box by the road. By 2009 it had grown into a complete Fall Festival and Fall Tour operation.

Our farm, Alpine Hills Dairy Farm, was established in 1947 in Corinth, KY by Papaw Joe Colson when he purchased his first few Brown Swiss Cows from Illinois. The farm is now relocated to Dry Ridge and owned by Papaw Joe’s son, Dean, and Dean's wife, Debbie. Today, they milk 55 Brown Swiss cows twice a day - 365 days a year!

Country Pumpkins is a family business run by Dean and Debbie Colson along with their son Matthew and his wife Shelley. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our beautiful farm with you this fall!
